D&G Bus will be extending Saturday services on the 317 bus route to Leighton Hospital from November, According to open timetable data published by Ticketer.

The 317 is a Cheshire East-subsidised direct Leighton Hospital to Sandbach and Alsager service, bypassing Crewe town centre entirely.

Prior to 31 March 2025, the service was weekdays only until Saturday services were launched, but only between Sandbach and Alsager.

In the Cheshire East Highways and Transport Committee on Thursday, 19 June, requests were made to extend Saturday services to Leighton so residents of Alsager could more easily access Leighton Hospital.

The 317 is a Cheshire East-subsidised direct Leighton Hospital to Sandbach and Alsager service, bypassing Crewe town centre entirely (Nub News).

The first direct Saturday Leighton Hospital to Alsager bus will depart at 8.55am on Saturday 1 November, 2025.

There will be six services in each direction, with an additional early morning Sandbach to Alsager service and early evening Alsager to Sandbach service as well.

This Saturday 317 bus service will match the weekday timetable for most of the day.

The UK government national bus fare cap mean adult single fares continue to cap at £3, with the scheme now continuing until March 2027.
