Thursday, 30 April
Need to get fit and have some fun? Beginners Strictly Dance Fit class starts at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 11 am - 12 noon. Background to the classes is detailed here

Like flexing your brain? The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock which recently reopened with new faces behind the bar has its weekly quiz night. Don't miss it!

Friday, 1 May
It's coffee and company at the Elworth church hall this morning from 9 am until 11.30 am. As well as their usual bacon or egg rolls, there will also be a selection of delicious cakes. All welcome!

Always wondered about your family tree? Sandbach Library has part two of a family history talk at 2.30 pm. Help understand some common errors, misunderstandings, secrets and simple bad handwriting that can derail your family history research.

Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so it's a chance to pick up some bargains!

In the evening, there's a chance to have a good laugh with the Comedy Hotspot at t Mary's Hall on Market Square expect blockbuster line-ups, comics who have been on TV, rising stars of British comedy.

Saturday, 2 May
Love rugby? Sandbach Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club is inviting veterans and armed forces supporters to them to watch the Inter Services Rugby Championship 2026 - the annual contest between the Royal Navy and the Army.
The live match is held at Twickenham and the match is being screened live at The Military Arms in Congleton Road. Kick-off is at 2pm.

Sunday, 3 May
Love watching rugby? Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road will be celebrating women's and girls' rugby with an afternoon of exciting rugby games and activities.
From midday, there will be opportunities to take part in or simply enjoy the Women's Inner Warrior Game, Women & Girls Touch Rugby and U14 and U16 girls' contact games.
All officiating will be overseen by female referees and food and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

At The Lion it's Pete G and his Krazee Karaoke at 7 pm.
