What's on in Sandbach is brought to you by our sponsor The Civic

We've gone through and picked out a few events but if we've missed anything, please let us know.

Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in and around Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Don't forget, if your business or organisation is running an event, you can advertise it for FREE with Sandbach Nub News.

Simply follow this link to our What's On section here and press the black 'Nub It' button to get started.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, November 14th

At Sandbach Market Hall, it's the Friday indoor market from 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look around a variety of stalls. A chance to pick up some Christmas gifts and get ready for the festive time ahead!

Love brass band music? Invite to see world-famous Foden's Brass band for free! They have an open rehearsal at Sandbach School theatre in Crewe Road from 7.30 pm ahead of the 2025 Brass in Concert Championships in Gateshead on Saturday (November 15th).

Admission is totally free. Go along and see their final preparations for the new 'Exodus: Moses in Egypt' programme.

Saturday, November 15th

Need something repairing? Why not go along to Sandbach Repair Cafe at St Peter's Church Hall in Elworth from 11 am until 2 pm. It's the final Repair Cafe Sandbach of 2025!

Held at St Peters' Church Hall, Elworth with ample parking and good disabled access.

Repair Cafés are all about repairing things. You bring your broken items from home and our fixers, who are unpaid local volunteers, will try and repair your item. You are invited to watch the repair, allowing you to take away not only your repaired item but a new shared skill!

This session we will have a collection box for the Teddy Bear Biker as he continues to spread smiles across Cheshire by giving out cuddlies to those he passes. If you have a pre-loved stuffed toy that needs a new owner, please consider donating (nothing too large please, it does have to go on a motorbike).

It's also an opportunity to meet new people and you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and/or home bake.

We hope to be able to bring back Repair Cafe Sandbach, operated by Sandbach Partnership, in 2026. To do this, Sandbach Partnership needs new volunteer officers. If you want to see initiatives like this together with bringing your own ideas for a thriving town to life, please contact [email protected] for more details.

Fancy watching some live football? Sandbach United Football Club's first team are at home to Cheadle Heath Nomads with a 3 pm kick-off in Hind Heath Road. Go and support your local team!

Sunday, November 16th

At Winterley Methodist Church, there's a 'Band Sunday' event with Winterley Methodist Brass Band at 6.30 pm. Don't miss it!

At The Lion it's Pete G and his Krazee Karaoke at 7 pm.
