Thursday, 23 July

Wheelock Congregation Church Hall has its Friday 'Arts and Crafts Club' for adults with additional needs.

They meet at Wheelock Congregational Church hall between 10 am and 12 noon. The cost is £10, which includes all resources and refreshments. Carers are free of charge. All welcome.

Need to get fit and have some fun? Beginners Strictly Dance Fit class starts at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 11 am - 12 noon. Background to the classes is detailed here

Like flexing your brain? The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock which recently reopened with new faces behind the bar has its weekly quiz night. Don't miss it!

Friday, 24 July

At Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road a Guinness World Record attempt for the longest games of men's and women's Rugby Sevens starts at middday and goes through the night until Saturday afternoon to raise money for rugby mental health charity, LooseHeadz.

The current men's record stands at 24hrs 30mins, while the women's record has never been attempted.

The record attempts will start at midday on Friday, with the new records hopefully established on Saturday mid-afternoon. The story is here .

It's coffee and company at the Elworth church hall this morning from 9 am until 11.30 am. As well as their usual bacon or egg rolls, there will also be a selection of delicious cakes. All welcome!

Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so it's a chance to pick up some bargains!

Saturday, 25 July

Are you a member of the Armed Forces or a veteran? It's the Armed Forces and Veterans' monthly breakfast club at the Military Arms in Congleton Road. Meet up for a brew and chat over a hearty breakfast. Banter 9.30 am, breakfast 10 am. Contact the Military Arms or Sandbach afvbc to book a breakfast.

It's the second day of the Guinness World Record attempt for the longest games of men's and women's Rugby Sevens starts at Sandbach RUFC. Good luck to all those taking part.

Love gardening and getting ideas? It's the final weekend of the annual Sandbach Garden Trail is on in aid of the Sandbach Woodland and Wildlife Group and Friends of Sandbach Park.

A garden at 25 Tatton Drive, CW11 1DZ and the Allotment Society at Yeowood Farm, CW11 3NE will both be open from 2 pm until 5 pm.

Sunday, 26 July

It's the final day of Sandbach Garden Trail in aid of the Sandbach Woodland and Wildlife Group and Friends of Sandbach Park.

A garden at 25 Tatton Drive, CW11 1DZ and the Allotment Society at Yeowood Farm, CW11 3NE will both be open from 2 pm until 5 pm.

Fancy some singing? Pete G and his Krazee Karaoke is on at The Lion at 7 pm.
