Thursday, 14 May

Wheelock Congregation Church Hall has its Friday 'Arts and Crafts Club' for adults with additional needs.

They meet at Wheelock Congregational Church hall between 10 am and 12 noon. The cost is £10, which includes all resources and refreshments. Carers are free of charge. All welcome.

Need to get fit and have some fun? Beginners Strictly Dance Fit class starts at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 11 am - 12 noon. Background to the classes is detailed here

Like flexing your brain? The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock which recently reopened with new faces behind the bar has its weekly quiz night. Don't miss it!

Friday, 15 May

It's coffee and company at the Elworth church hall this morning from 9 am until 11.30 am. As well as their usual bacon or egg rolls, there will also be a selection of delicious cakes. All welcome!

Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so it's a chance to pick up some bargains!

Goostrey Scout Hut has Badapple Theatre present 'Crumbs' featuring comedy, clowning, plus live baking at 7.30 pm. Expect Laughs galore, with the added bonus of a tempting treat to taste as the end credits roll!

This one-person show full of comedy, songs and original music, is written by Kate Bramley (York Theatre Royal/Badapple Theatre) who trained under Sir John Godber at Hull Truck Theatre. 7:30pm Goostrey Scout Hut, CW4 8PE.

Saturday, 16 May

It's the monthly Repair Cafe Sandbach event, run by the Sandbach Partnership, at St Peter's Church in Elworth from 11am until 2pm. You can book a repair at [email protected]. This gives you priority over someone who hasn't booked so may save you a wait or you can turn up on the day with your repairs if you prefer. Tea, coffee and cakes while you wait. You are welcome to watch as our volunteers do their best to repair your items.

There's an exhibition of Life Drawing by the Sandbach and Haslington Life Drawing groups from 11 am until 4 pm at the Literary Institute. Free Entry. There's also a free Life Drawing workshop from 1 pm until 2.30 pm with refreshments.

Wheelock Playing fields in Crewe Road has its fundraising annual fun day from 1 pm until 4 pm with rides, a BBQ and stalls. All welcome!
