Thursday, 16 July

Wheelock Congregation Church Hall has its Friday 'Arts and Crafts Club' for adults with additional needs.

They meet at Wheelock Congregational Church hall between 10 am and 12 noon. The cost is £10, which includes all resources and refreshments. Carers are free of charge. All welcome.

Need to get fit and have some fun? Beginners Strictly Dance Fit class starts at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 11 am - 12 noon. Background to the classes is detailed here

Like flexing your brain? The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock which recently reopened with new faces behind the bar has its weekly quiz night. Don't miss it!

Friday, 17 July

It's coffee and company at the Elworth church hall this morning from 9 am until 11.30 am. As well as their usual bacon or egg rolls, there will also be a selection of delicious cakes. All welcome!

Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so it's a chance to pick up some bargains!

Saturday, 18 July

It's the monthly Repair Cafe Sandbach. Repair Cafe Sandbach at St Peter's Church Hall in Elworth (School Lane) from 11 am to 2 pm. The service was even featured on BBC Breakfast for its work keeping items out of landfill as we revealed here

Established in 2023, the Repair Café Sandbach runs 3rd Saturday of the month at St Peters' Church Hall, Elworth which has ample parking and good disabled access and the next one is on March 15th.

Anything in need of repair (other than microwaves, white goods or safety items i.e. car seats) is welcome and can usually be repaired by Repair Café volunteer specialists, including clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, bags/luggage, computer tech and toys. Repairs are free of charge (unless parts are required) and completed on 'best effort' basis.

Repair Cafe Sandbach is also looking to add to their band of volunteer fixers and hosts, you can register your interest by clicking HERE.

Meanwhile Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road has Bachfest on from 3 pm until 11 pm with live local artists playing plus tribute acts including Kno Duo, Oliver Hawkins, 90 Band Set, Ariana Grande tribute and Spice Girls tribute

There will be food stalls, indoor and outdoor bars. Tickets available here are £19 for adults, £10 for children aged five - 15 and £55 for a family ticket (two adults and two children).

Love gardening and getting ideas? The annual Sandbach Garden Trail is on in aid of the Sandbach Woodland and Wildlife Group and Friends of Sandbach Park. There is one garden open this weekend from 2 pm - 5pm at 19 Hungerford Place, CW11 4P.
