We have gone through and picked out a few events but if we've missed anything, please let us know!
Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in and around Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:
Thursday, 3 September
Wheelock Congregation Church Hall has its Friday 'Arts and Crafts Club' for adults with additional needs.
They meet at Wheelock Congregational Church hall between 10 am and 12 noon. The cost is £10, which includes all resources and refreshments. Carers are free of charge. All welcome.

Need to get fit and have some fun? Beginners Strictly Dance Fit class starts at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 11 am - 12 noon. Background to the classes is detailed here

Local veterans' group Sandbach, Middlewich & Comrades branch of The Cheshire Regiment Association has its weekly meet-up at The Lion pub at 7.30 pm. It's a chance for veterans and their families to connect, share stories and support each other.

Like flexing your brain? The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock which recently reopened with new faces behind the bar has its weekly quiz night. Don't miss it!

Friday, 4 September

Saturday, 5 September
It's Rode Hall September Farmers' Market at Scholar Green from 9 am until 1.30 pm. An array of stalls and music with plenty to see and buy.

In the evening, JMD are at the Tavern in Sandbach.

The Lion has Pete G from 9 pm bringing an Electro 80's set'.

Sunday, 6 September
Fancy meeting new people and doing something good for the local environment? Sandbach Woodland and Wildlife Group is meeting at the bottom of Zan yard in Wheelock for a 10 am start finishing at 12 noon.
Volunteers will be aiming to clear overgrown vegetation along Footpath FP23, as well as some minor path maintenance. Please wear gloves (lots of brambles and nettles, so good gloves!) and, if possible, bring shears, secateurs or loppers.
