The owners of Crown Bank Dental in Sandbach, Cheshire are busy getting into tip-top shape for an important event this weekend.

Husband and wife couple, Mehdi and Janine Yazdi-Doughty who took over the dental practice in 2017, are avid triathlon fans.

On Sunday (May 19th) they are both taking part in the Cheshire Triathlon in Nantwich where they will be swimming, cycling and running at the event based at Barony Park Sports Complex.

The dentist duo have taken part in many triathlons and marathons before, and both train locally around Sandbach where they live and work.

To celebrate turning 40, Mehdi will be doing the 'Ironman Copenhagen', raising money on behalf of Alder Hey children's hospital.

In November last year, the whole Crown Bank Dental team took part in the Tatton Park 10k, raising £1605 for the charity.

Alongside dentistry, the practice offers a unique health screening service that checks patients' blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol levels.

The practice also brings their values of health and wellbeing to the heart of the local community. Crown Bank Dental sponsors the U8's Sandbach United Eagles football team who have made it to the finals this weekend and will soon be official sponsors of the Hawks Netball Club in Crewe.

"We go beyond just looking after the teeth of our patients, we support their whole health and want to support local people to be healthy and active," says Mehdi, Crown Bank Dental practice principal.
