What's on in Sandbach is brought to you by our sponsors-  Swan & Chequers and Tigerbite.

It's a busy weekend ahead with lots happening again!

We've gone through and picked out a few but if we've missed anything, please let us know.

Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Don't forget, if your business or organisation is running an event, you can advertise it for FREE with Sandbach Nub News.

Simply follow this link to our What's On section here and press the black 'Nub It' button to get started.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, March 14th

It's the Friday market indoors at Sandbach Market 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look round a variety of stalls.

The Swan & Chequers in Hightown has its happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries'. A chance to get out of the cold and warm up with some tasty food.

Saturday, March 15th

Have you got something which needs repairing? There's a great monthly event where you can take along things and get them mended and repaired.

Established in 2023, the Repair Café Sandbach runs 3rd Saturday of the month at St Peters' Church Hall, Elworth which has ample parking and good disabled access and the next one is on March 15th.

Anything in need of repair (other than microwaves, white goods or safety items i.e. car seats) is welcome and can usually be repaired by Repair Café volunteer specialists, including clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, bags/luggage, computer tech, toys, et cetera.

Repairs are free of charge (unless parts are required) and completed on 'best effort' basis.

Repair Cafe Sandbach is also looking to add to their band of volunteer fixers and hosts, you can register your interest by clicking HERE.

Remember our story here about two men doing an artic trek for charity? There's a fundraising 'welcome home' type event at the Wheatsheaf. It starts at 7 pm and includes canapes, a welcome drink plus entertainment. Tickets are available from this link here

Sunday, March 16th

Fancy some live, funky Latin jazz music? The Swan & Chequers has the Paul Kilvington Trio at 4 pm. Paul Kilvington on the keyboard, Grant Russell on bass and Elliott Henshaw on the drums.

Monday, March 17th

Sandbach Inner Wheel has a Spring coffee morning from 10 am until 12 noon at the Wesley Centre in Wesley Avenue, Sandbach. Entry is £2 which includes tea/coffee and biscuits. Cake stall, plants, books etc. The event is in aid of St Luke's Hospice, Sandbach Cancer Research and other local charities.

Have a fantastic weekend!
