Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, February 14th

It's the Friday market indoors at Sandbach Market 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look round a variety of stalls.

The annual Snowdrop Walks are open at Rode Hall at Scholar Green from Thursdays until Sundays from 10 am until 4 pm. Admission is £7.50 for adults, family ticket £20 (up to two adults and three children), children five - 15 £3/under five year olds are free. They run until March 1st - details here

The Swan & Chequers in Hightown has its happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries'. A chance to get out of the cold and warm up with some tasty food.

Saturday, February 15th

It's the monthly Repair Cafe Sandbach at St Peter's Church hall in Elworth from 11 am until 2 pm - a chance to get all those bits and pieces repaired. The fix is free - you just make a donation. They are an amazing set of fixers as we revealed in this story here

Sandbach United are at home to Foley Meir with a 3 pm kick-off. Show the Ramblers your support!

Calum McGregor is live at the Military Arms in Congleton Road from 8 pm.

Fancy a drink or two? Take advantage of the Swan & Chequers' Saturday offers - four shots for £10, cask ale £3.50, cocktail of the week £7 or two for £11. Don't miss out!

Strum and Bass are live at the Swan and Chequers at 9 pm.

Sunday, February 16th

There's a four-piece jazz band at the Swan & Chequers on Sunday at 4pm. Don't miss it!
