Friday, August 9th

The Swan & Chequers in Hightown has a busy weekend ahead - it's their first birthday! It's happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries'.

Everything stops for tea! Earlier in the day, there's a Breast Cancer Now afternoon tea at Sandbach United Football Club in Hind Heath Road from 2 pm until 4.30 pm. Full details in our story here

Saturday, August 17th

Happy birthday! The Swan & Chequers is one year old and to celebrate, they are teaming up with The Reecession to have an incredible outdoor DJ event in their beer garden from 7pm. Summer dance vibes all night long! Free entry.

Earlier in the day, Repair Cafe Sandbach is on at St Peter's Church Hall in Elworth from 11 am until 2 pm. A link to a previous story is here
