An award-winning Sandbach estate agent has launched a project with Sandbach Pantry to help those in need.

Stephenson Browne's Sandbach branch is putting a basket in the window of its High Street office for people to donate non-perishable food items, toiletries and cleaning products.

Belle Smith, branch manager said: "We're thinking of any donations whether they be tins from a cupboard when you're clearing and getting ready to move or other items."

Nub News recently told here how the Sandbach branch had scooped a regional prize recognising its consistently high customer service levels.

Stephenson Browne, based in High Street, Sandbach, has received The British Property Lettings Award (Gold Standard) as best in the North West region.

"For example, you could have new, unused toiletries or cleaning products, toilet rolls, washing powder, tooth paste or anything else.

"We're very much a community-based business and we're delighted to be running this."

Ian Parsons, from Sandbach Pantry, said: "We're delighted to partner with local businesses such as Stephenson Browne.

"It's a brilliant idea and one which will be well-received. It will help families with the cost-of-living crisis who may be struggling to pay food and heating bills.

"These donations will help those in need. Anything anyone can donate will help especially as we come up to Easter."

Branch manager, Belle Smith and property consultant, Alison Southern, went to Sandbach Foodbank, based at the Wesley Centre in Wesley Avenue, to meet the team and see how it works.

Stephenson Browne's Sandbach office can take donations from 9 am until 2 pm Saturdays and Monday – Friday 9.15 am – 5.30 pm.
