A stylish coffee shop at Winterley near Sandbach which only opened late last year is extending its opening hours.

Kazzy's Kitchen, named after the owner's horse, has announced it's opening on Saturdays from next Saturday (April 15th).

Café owner, Janet Ellis, spent nearly seven weeks renovating the building next to a Chinese takeaway in Crewe Road, Winterley with husband Heath.

And now Janet has announced she is also extending the menu to include eat in or take out ice cream and ice cream sundaes and retro knickerbocker glories

She said: "We'll be opening on Saturdays from 15th April for breakfasts and brunch from 9 am until 1 pm for a trial period.

"We're also now selling ice creams to eat in or take out, perfect for sitting by the pool on a sunny day and ice cream sundaes and retro knickerbocker glories."

The business is named after Janet's beloved horse, Kazzy, and it also has undertones of her other two passions – fashion and musicals.

Images of fashion icons and musicals adorn the walls of the cosy, quaint café which has a vintage feel.

"When I'm not here or cooking I'm often watching musicals," said Janet in an earlier interview with Sandbach Nub News

"I just love all the fashion of the 1940s and 1950s. I went to see the Dior exhibition in London as I love that style of clothing."

Sandbach Nub News told in a launch article here https://sandbach.nub.news/news/local-news/stylish-new-coffee-shop-opens-near-winterley-pool-with-a-vintage-twist-157197 how tea is served in vintage tea pots and cups.

"My grandmother would never drink out of anything except a China cup and saucer," she said.

Have you tried Kazzy's Kitchen yet? It's worth a visit!
