German supermarket chain, Aldi, revamps its Sandbach store

German budget supermarket chain, Aldi, has revamped its Sandbach store with the doors opening today at 8 am (Wednesday) on the new-look shop.

The car park of the Middlewich Road store was busy today (Wednesday) after the shop was closed for the first two days of this week.

Aldi submitted a premises licence application for the Middlewich Road store last year and this week the changes took place.
Aldi say the new back-to-back fridges make finding everything shoppers need easier. There is a new bigger bakery space and there's a confectionery section.

The health and beauty section has also been given a revamp with a bigger section dedicated to Aldi's beauty buys.
A spokesperson said: "the new-look store will speed up your shop, help you find your favourites and spotlight new ranges."
