Part of a back route to Warmingham and Crewe is currently closed while Scottish Power carry out work.

Part of Elton Road in Ettiley Heath is closed today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday) while work is carried out.

A Cheshire East Council notice said: "The alternative route will be by the following roads – Elton Road, Elworth Road roundabout, Salt Line Way, Moston Road.

"Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times.

"Cyclists will be required to dismount in order for access to be maintained. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible."

Motorists can get back on to the route by following diversions along the road.
