A Sandbach town centre which has been given a big make-over is set to re-open – with a completely new look and name.

The former Ring o'Bells in Welles Street has been closed for a while but it's under new hands and the new owner, Nick Whitby, has impressive plans.

First off, the pub has been renamed, Welles & Cross and it's has been given a completely new look, both inside and outside.

And new owner, Mr Whitby, is poised to open the doors to the impressive new premises which will have a totally different look and feel.

Welles & Cross has applied for a premises licence here which includes showing films, some live music and "late refreshment".

The new-look pub is due to open shortly.
