Two men have been charged with drugs offences following a police stop check at Knutsford Services.

Zion Blackwood and Peter Scott were both arrested on Sunday 20 April after being stopped by officers at Knutsford Services.

During the arrests, a quantity of illegal drugs was recovered along with mobile phones.

Blackwood, 18, of Ruskin Hall Grove, Birmingham, and Scott, 31, of Chipstead Road, Birmingham, have both since been charged with conspiring to convey a prohibited article into/out of a prison, being concerned in the supply of cocaine, and being concerned in the supply of class B drugs (cannabis).

The pair have both been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday 20 May.
