Two world records set at Sandbach Rugby Club raising thousands for mental health charity

They did it! Two world records have been set at Sandbach RUFC helping to raise thousands of pounds for mental health.
Ex-England and Saracens forward, George Kruis, joined local men's and women's rugby players at the Bradwall Road site on Friday lunchtime, finishing on Saturday afternoon to set a world record.
Forty-eight men and women came together to raise £68,979 for LooseHeadz. by breaking the current record for the longest game of 7s rugby.
The men's and ladies teams sounded the final whistle ending their matches and are now hoping to make it into the Guinness Book of records.
The women only had to play for 10 minutes than a usual match to enter the record books as no record exists at the moment.
The men notched up 28 hours beating the 24 hours and 35 minutes of the existing record.
