Going to the dentist isn't everyone's favourite occupation but one dental practice is aiming to change this concept forever.

Stylish Crown Bank Dental implant and cosmetic centre is based in an historic building at the foot of St Mary's Church in the heart of Sandbach.

The practice has had a complete revamp with the emphasis on providing high-quality care with a patient-centred journey.

And this includes making the experience a first-class experience from the minute the patient walks through the door to sitting down in the chair to see their dentist.

A comfortable lounge complete with a sleek fire and TV awaits patients when they arrive at the practice in Crown Bank.

The practice was also heavily recognised in Private Dentistry Awards where it was highly commended for the team of the year and finalists in Practice Manager of the year – Emma Baskeyfield, Practice Principal of the year – Mehdi Yazdi and Dental Practice of the year – Crown Bank Dental.

Dentist, Mehdi Yazdi took over the practice in 2017 and more recently his wife Janine has become a practice partner.

Mehdi has transformed the practice which has become renowned for its high-class results not only in South Cheshire but the North West.

Dental implant work is an area that Crown Bank Dental is becoming more and more renowned for and it has many success stories to date, for people of all ages.

One recent patient was an 80-year-old man who had dental implants fitted which "literally gave him a new lease of life" said dentist, Mehdi Yazdi.

"We used the latest techniques to reduce pain and he was delighted with the result.

"He could now eat anything he wanted to and smile with confidence. It changed the man's life."

Practice manager, Emma Baskeyfield, decided to take the plunge and have implants and Invisalign work.

"It's changed my life and my teeth now look so much better," said Emma.

"We offer finance plans to help with the cost and provide advice about what is best and how we can help you and it's all done here at our practice in Sandbach."

Ensuring children adopt good dental hygiene from a young age is also a very important to the Crown Bank team.

The practice has an experienced team offering NHS dental care for children. They are taking on new children on the NHS right now.

"It's about establishing and reinforcing good habits from an early age. How we look after our teeth in our youth shapes them for the future and older age," said Janine, the dentist who sees new child patients at the practice.

"We have toys and make the experience as welcoming and fun as we can for babies and children.

"Tooth decay remains the most common reason for hospital admission in five- to nine-year-olds

"Baby teeth are very important which is why it's vital to start good dental practice and hygiene from an early age."

Mehdi and Janine recommend getting children registered for their first NHS dental check as soon as their baby teeth are showing.

The practice specialises in a wide range of treatments and prides itself in caring for patients of all ages - from the very young to the more mature. Contact Crown Bank Dental to book your appointment.
