Vicar of St Mary's Church has been named as the new chair of Churches Together in Sandbach

An organisation which represents ten churches in Sandbach has appointed a new chair.

Vicar of St Mary's Church in Sandbach, Rev Bee Boyde, has been named as the new chair of Churches Together in Sandbach.

The group represents churches across the town including denominations from Church of England, Roman Catholic, Methodist and Baptist.

Vice chair of the group is Rev Alistair Stewart, minister of Sandbach Baptist Church.

The ten members are: St Mary's, Unity Methodist Church, St John's. Sandbach Heath, St Winefride's, Sandbach Baptist Church, St Peter's Elworth, The Church on Ettiley Heath, Christ Church, Wheelock, Unity Methodist Church, New Horizons and St Philip's, Hassall Green. 

The group makes regular donations to Refugees Welcome and Churches Together in Cheshire.

Plans are also being made for the World Day of Prayer on 3rd March with services written by women from Taiwan.

The Easter Services will include a dawn service on Easter Sunday morning, April 9th at St Mary's Church in Sandbach.
