While all the focus is on London as Charles III is poised to become our 62nd monarch, there's something to see much closer to home!

Holmes Chapel Community Yarn Bombers have been at it again – creating a royal display around the village near Sandbach like no other.

Sandbach Nub News caught up with the display complete with a 7 ft figure of King Charles III himself.

Anita Armitt (pictured above with the display) who helped set up the amazing group of knitters and crafts people, said the display has been designed so it's literally fit for a King!

The King's knitted uniform is placed on a mannequin and features crocheted shoes, a Monarch butterfly and delphiniums, the King's favourite flower.

Nearby is pair of knitted Hunter Wellies, a wheel barrow and watering can and even a robin, which pays homage to the late Queen and her presence in the display.

Last year, for the Platinum Jubilee, the knitters made a life-size Queen and other items for a similar display.

Have you seen this display yet? Sandbach Nub News thinks it's well-worth a visit!
