Voters in the Sandbach Heath and East ward for Sandbach Town Council go to the polls on May 1st to choose a candidate to be a ward councillor.

There are four candidates fighting for the seat on Sandbach Town Council:

Sarah Bradley, Independent

James Smith, Liberal Democrats

Colin Storey, Labour Party

Will Taylor, Reform UK

Sandbach Town Council is made up of 20 councillors across four wards - Town Ward, Sandbach Heath and East Ward, Ettiley Heath and Wheelock Ward and Elworth Ward.  

Councillors are elected by public vote every four years. Any vacancies occurring outside of the four yearly election may be filled by co-option or a by-election.
