Saturday January 22nd

Sandbach Town Mayor Cllr Geraint Price Jones is raising money for the North West Air Ambulance charity and on Saturday he holds his big fundraiser, a quiz night in the ballroom at the town hall.

The fun starts at 7.30 pm and there's a pie supper and a raffle.

We covered the story here. Meanwhile at Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road, star of BBC Radio 4's TEZ Talks, Tez Ilyas is on stage at a comedy night starting at 8.30pm. Tickets cost £16.50. Sunday January 23rd With Christmas and New Year over, it's probably time to get out for a walk. There's lots of local places to have a leisurely walk. The Salt Line is popular along with Sandbach Park which has childrens' play areas not to mention the canal. Further afield, there's Brereton Heath Nature Reserve and walks around the Bradwall area.
