It's Bank Holiday weekend and there's lots happening in Sandbach including a vegan fair, a popular dog walk and a bygone Sandbach exhibition.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday, April 30th    

Grab your pooch, putting on your walking shoes or boots and head for the Old Hall.

It's the Old Hall's monthly pub walk. Meet at the pub at 9.30 am for a quick brew and bacon butty before setting off at 10 am.

There's no need to book – just turn up and enjoy the stroll!

Meanwhile the Church on Ettiley Heath has its monthly breakfast club serving delicious food is on from 10 am at the church hall in Elton Road, Ettiley Heath.   

At Sandbach Town Hall, all things vegan will be happening with the Cheshire Vegan Fair which starts at 11 am and runs until 5pm.

 It features 30 stalls and live performances from 'Fantasy Performers' and guest performers.

If history is your passion, Bygone Sandbach by the Munshull Archive is at St Mary's Church Hall in Sandbach at 7pm. Tickets costs £5.

Sunday, May 1st

For those wanting to keep fit, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.
