What's On in Sandbach: live music, farmer's market, record fair and movie quiz

It looks a right Royal celebration in Sandbach! There's live music, a farmer's market nearby, a record fair and a movie quiz.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, June 3rd

There's live music from the talented Jess T Music (below) singing on the terrace at the Old Hall in Sandbach from 7pm onwards.

At the Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock there's a DJ from 9pm.

Saturday, June 4th

There's a special Platinum Jubilee Market at Rode Hall between 9 am and 1.30 pm. The Rode Hall Silver Band will be playing throughout the morning and at 11 am there will be a fun dog show.

Entry is £2 with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support. Classes will include dogs the judges would most like to take home, dog most like its owner and the best trick. :

Delicious doggy prizes will be awarded by Pawfect Bakes and there will also be a Jubilee cake competition so take along your cake to the stand outside the barn and judging will take place at 12 noon.

The Courtyard Kitchen will be open selling homemade cakes and brunches and the gardens bursting with azaleas.

In Sandbach, the Friends of Sandbach Station have a coffee/tea stall on from 9.30 am until 11.30 am for travellers. Minimun contribution is £1.00, including a lid to take on the train.

Sandbach RUFC has its Jubilee party from 3 pm until 9 pm while the Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock has the talented Sam Lyons at 8.30 pm.     

Sunday, June 5th 

Sandbach Record Fair is on at Sandbach Market Hall. Records, food and drink available. It starts at 10am.

For those wanting to keep fit, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.

 It runs from 11 am until 4pm and the gardens and tearooms are also open so you can make the most of your day. Admission is £6 and children £2.50 with under 5's free.
