It's a busy weekend ahead - and the countdown to the big day is getting closer.

We've gone through and picked out a few but if we've missed anything please let us know.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Thursday, December 21st

It's 'Carols on the Cobbles' at 6 pm. Everyone is welcome to join in this event organised by Churches Together in Sandbach. Wrap up warm and make sure you keep warm and cosy. See you there!

Roberts Band has its Christmas concert at Sandbach Town Hall from 7.30 pm until 10 pm. Adult tickets are £8 available from this link here

Friday, December 22nd

The Swan & Chequers has DJ Larcombe spinning tunes from 8.30 pm onwards - think club classics, house, trance and festive mixes. Enjoy two for £10 on Baby Guinness and Jammie Dodger shots plus cocktails all night!

Saturday, December 23rd

Children are top of the list for the Swan & Chequer's 'Breakfast with Santa' events!

For £12 per child, children can join Santa for breakfast on 23rd and 24th and grown-ups can join in too, with festive pancakes and toppings!

The Lower Chequer has JMD from 9 pm.

Sunday, December 24th

The Swan & Chequers has its 'Santa for Breakfast event again.

There are two Christmas Masses at St Winefrides on Middlewich Road Sandbach at 4 pm and 6.30pm.

Tuesday, December 26th

Fancy blowing off the cobwebs on Boxing Day? There's a local football derby on at Sandbach United in Hind Heath Road. Sandbach play local team, Alsager Town, aka The Bullets with a 3 pm kick-off. See you there!
