Friday, May 23rd
At Sandbach Market Hall, it's the Friday indoor market from 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look around a variety of stalls.

Saturday, May 24th
Holmes Chapel Zoo has a day with a difference - a 'bug bonzana'. Fancy somewhere different to take teh children or grandchildren this Bank Holiday weekend?
Celebrate the wonders of bugs and garden wildlife at Holmes Chapel Zoo's hands-on Bug Bonanza event – perfect for nature lovers of all ages!

Enjoy up-close animal encounters, explore the 'Worm Discovery Zone' browse the pollinator plant sale, and take part in face painting, keeper talks, and themed photo fun.
There's also a chance to get hands-on with real invertebrates, learn how to attract wildlife to your garden, build your own bug house to take home, and earn your Garden Guardian certificate.
The zoo, website here, is based on land at Bidlea Dairy in Twemlow Lane, Holmes Chapel.

The three day Smallwood Steam and Vintage Rally near Love Lane Farm, Betchton open. It features classic cars, traction engines, lorries and a raft of other vehicles and runs until Monday (May 26th).
The event attracts crowds of visitors from far and wide, many camping for the occasion. Ticket details and other information are on the website here

Sandbach Rugby Club's three day Festival of Beer 2025 gets underway at 12 noon at Bradwall Road in Sandbach. The popular event features 30 cask ales, craft beers, and world lagers plus live music throughout the weekend and childrens' activities.
At 2.30pm, Della and the Fellas play - a mix of 70s and 80s classics while at 4.30pm there's piano by Sally, a beautiful set of soulful, chilled-out tunes - perfect for sipping beers in the sunshine.
Tickets are £4 in advance per day or £6 on the gate. Buy advance entry for both Saturday and Sunday for £6!
Saturday ticket holders get half-price entry on Sunday with proof of Saturday attendance Club membesr receive a free beer token with valid ticket and membership card (Saturday only). Tickets can be bought here

Sunday, May 25th
It's day two of Sandbach Rugby Club's Festival of Bee and alongside the great drinks offerings there's also a local favourite playing at 2.30pm - Jon Stevens and at 4.30pm, Remi - acoustic covers with a soulful twist - from timeless classics to modern hits.

It's also day two at Smallwood Steam and Vintage Rally with lots taking place at this popular event.

Monday, May 26th
It's volunteer appreciation day at Sandbach Rugby Club's Festival of Beer and also the final day of Smallwood Steam and Vintage Rally website here .
