What's On in Sandbach this weekend: Charity day, town festival and artisan market

It's a busy weekend ahead with a charity day, town festival and the maker's market.         

We've gone through and picked out a few but if we've missed anything please let us know.

Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday, September 9th

The Co-op in Lawton Way has a charity day from 10 am until 2 pm with a car wash, raffle, tombola and football card. Go along and show your support and also meet the store's new manager. See you there!

Sandbach Market Town Festival is on from 11 am until 4 pm as we revealed here

A fun-filled day of activities is lined-up on the Small Common, in Sandbach Market Hall and The Ballroom at Sandbach Town Hall. The Olive & Stitch market will be on and there will be various activities taking place and entertainers at the event.

Sandbach Maker's Market is on from 10am until 3pm on The Cobbles. An array of stalls will be on The Cobbles selling everything from food to hand-made local craft items.

Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road has an action-packed day with the 1st XV welcoming Blackburn Rugby Club and the 2nd XV also welcoming Blackburn Rugby Club 2nd XV with a slightly earlier kick off at 2.30pm.

At Sandbach United's first team are away to Winsford United with a 3 pm kick-off.

At Ettiley Heath Church Community Centre, Elton Road there's the family-friendly board game meet-up from 1 pm until 4 pm. All welcome! It's a monthly board game meetup particularly aimed at families with young children. Come along and share your hobby.
