What's on in Sandbach is brought to you to give you a taste of what's happening locally at the weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, May 16th

Looking for a car? BYD Crewe has a summer sale until Monday (19th May). Take advantage of 0% finance across the full range, as well as up to £1000 off on top of all retail offers!

Take the family along for some BYD fun! There are dot-to-dot and colouring in images of the BYD range to keep young minds engaged while you browse the showroom, or enjoy some friendly competition on the Nintendo Wii.

You can also enjoy tasty treats from the popcorn machine, chocolate fountain and air fryer or enjoy an ice lolly to get into the summer spirit.

At Sandbach Market Hall, it's the Friday indoor market from 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look around a variety of stalls.

Sandbach Concert Series has a festival weekend celebrating 15 years. The Aquarelle Guitar Quartet are playing in St Mary's Church.

Saturday, May 17th

Do you have something which needs repairing? Now's your chance! Sandbach Repair Cafe is held monthly and is on at St Peter's Church Hall in Elworth. The event runs from 11 am until 2 pm. Read a story on the project here They're a great bunch of people who can fix all sorts of things. Give them a try!

Sandbach Choral Society has an interesting event at Elworth Church of England Primary School in Elworth. 'Come and Sing' takes place from 9.30 am until 4.30 pm. The cost for adults is £20 and students £10. Booking forms and information from [email protected]

Wheelock playing fields has a fundraising fun day on the playing fields in Crewe Road.

The event will feature a vehicle display, arts and crafts, tombola, fair ground rides, BBQ and a variety of stalls in the beautiful setting of the playing fields.

This event takes place from 1 pm until 4 pm and is hosted by Sandbach Partnership in collaboration with Friends of Wheelock Playing Fields. It aims to raise money for field improvements.

John Helliwell, of Supertramp fame, brings his group Creme Anglais to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Sandbach Concert Series. Uplifting, soulful music led by John with his distinctive clarinet and saxophone sound at St Mary's Church Hall.

Sunday, May 18th

Sandbach Concert Series is staging its 'Youth Music Competition' - the final round of its bi-annual competition open to the public - at the Maxwell Davies Centre at Sandbach School.
