Thursday, 30 July

Do you have children and fancy some summer fun? Castaway Play in Astbury has a fantastic offer - a summer pass valid until 1 September. You can use it as many times as you like between until 1 September and use code 'NUBNEWS' for 10 per cent off. More details here

Wheelock Congregation Church Hall has its Friday 'Arts and Crafts Club' for adults with additional needs.

They meet at Wheelock Congregational Church hall between 10 am and 12 noon. The cost is £10, which includes all resources and refreshments. Carers are free of charge. All welcome.

Need to get fit and have some fun? Beginners Strictly Dance Fit class starts at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 11 am - 12 noon. Background to the classes is detailed here

Like flexing your brain? The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock which recently reopened with new faces behind the bar has its weekly quiz night. Don't miss it!

Friday, 31 July

It's coffee and company at the Elworth church hall this morning from 9 am until 11.30 am. As well as their usual bacon or egg rolls, there will also be a selection of delicious cakes. All welcome!

Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so it's a chance to pick up some bargains!

Saturday, 1 August

It's Rode Hall monthly farmers' market at Scholar on from 9 am until 1.30 pm with seasonal fruit and vegetables, artisan meat, cheese, bread, fresh fish and much more.

The craft barn will be full of ceramics, art, jewellery, leather goods and original gifts and live music from Dawson Dean. The courtyard kitchen will be open serving breakfast, brunch and homemade cakes.

Sunday, 2 August

Are you into vinyl? Backtrax music has a Record Fair at Sandbach Indoor Market from 10 am until 3 pm. It's free to attend. A chance to relive some of those vinyl memories and maybe pick up a few collectables?

Fancy some singing? Pete G and his Krazee Karaoke is on at The Lion at 7 pm.
