What's On in Sandbach this weekend: Comedy night, makers market, school fair and music galore

It's a fun weekend ahead in Sandbach – a comedy night, maker's market, summer fair and music galore!

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, June 10th 

There will be plenty of fun and laughter at Sandbach Town Hall for a comedy night.

Joe Rowntree, Lindsey Santoro, Allyson June Smith and Justin Moorhouse will take to the stage.

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at pm. Tickets cost £13 in advance or £15 on the door. Tickets available from Lois's Little Cake Company and the Comedy Hotspot website.

Saturday, June 11th

Sandbach Makers Market on The Cobbles is on this Saturday between 10 am and 3pm featuring over 50 artisans.

With Father's Day just around the corner there will be a brilliant selection of handmade artisan goods to choose from, from craft beer candles to locally brewed liqueurs.

At Sandbach RUFC, Ukrainian sponsors and guests are having a BBQ from 12 noon.

Meanwhile at Elworth Hall Primary School in Lawton Way there's a Jubilee Festival featuring live music, craft and gift fairs and a fun fair to name a few.

The fun starts at 12 noon and goes on until 4pm with all proceeds to Elworth Hall School Association.

Sandbach United Football Club's grounds in Hind Heath Road is 10 years old this year and to celebrate the club is holding a live music event – Decade 2022 - featuring various live music. Doors open at 4 pm. Tickets are £5 members and £10 non-members.  

Sunday, June 12th  

For those wanting to keep fit, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.
