A community organisation run by community volunteers for the benefit of the community is advertising for a new management team.

It is advertising for a chairman, vice-chairman, secretary and treasurer for the organisation which is independent of Cheshire East Council and Sandbach Town Council and politically neutral.

Sandbach Partnership, based at Sandbach Enterprise Centre in Wesley Avenue, was formed around 19 years ago and held its AGM earlier this year,

Sandbach was one of sixteen towns in the North West involved in the Market Town Initiative Fund which was allocated to support rural recovery.

The aim of the funding was to set up a voluntary partnership supported by a full-time officer to deliver a plan with suitable projects to access the funding.

Sandbach Partnership runs several annual initiatives, including the Sandbach Tree of Light, Sandbach Partnership Youth Forum, Spooky Saturday and the recreation of the Friends of Sandbach Cemetery.

The chairman will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, including arranging access for forum groups and the vice chairman will support the chairman in their duties.

The closing date for applications is next Friday (June 17th) and application forms and further information is available on the website http://www.sandbachpartnership.co.uk/management-team-vacancies/
