It's an action-packed weekend ahead – fun Foden's quiz, car boot, makers market, didi rugby event, cricket, garden trail and school extravaganza.

Friday June 9th
Fancy yourself as an 'Egghead? There's a fundraising quiz in aid of Sandbach's very own Foden's Band. Foden's has some of the greatest brass banders in England (pictured below). Pit your wits against members of Foden's in teams of eight - a great family friendly way to spend your Friday evening! Sandbach Rugby Club, Bradwall Road at 7.30 pm. Cost: £10 including a hot-pot supper.
Saturday, June 10th
It's Sandbach Makers Market on The Cobbles. Filled with small businesses plus plenty of new ones to enjoy and discover, it's set to be the perfect treat for the weekend. The market takes place from 10am until 3pm.
Roll up, roll up! Elworth Hall Primary School's extravaganza is on from from 12 noon until 4 pm with circus skills workshops, a fun fair, stalls, children's games, bouncy castles and jumbo slide, face painting and much more!
Elworth Hall Primary School choir will be joined by the Co-operative Wind Bands, Fun Bouncy Castle Hire, Sandbach Animal Rescue Society, Friends Of Elworth Park and we'll have the ever popular emergency vehicles from Cheshire Police and Sandbach Fire Station Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Fancy a bargain? There's a car boot sale at St John's Church in Church Lane, Sandbach Heath, starting at 10 am. It goes on until 1 pm.
Sandbach Garden Trail is on with programmes available at Sandbach library and Godfrey Williams. f you can't get one, turn up at one of the gardens on June 10th or 11th. I Hartford Close CW11 1ZU or 2 Moreton Close CW11 1DU, both off Tatton Drive. Pay at the first gate and you're set for the season. £5 per person.
It's the cricket season with lots being played in the town at Elworth Cricket Club and Sandbach Cricket Club. Both have bars so you can go along to watch cricket and enjoy a drink.
If you enjoy live music, The Lion in Sandbach has Outer Limits playing from 9.30 pm.
