It's an action-packed weekend ahead – the Bluedot festival, pottery, cricket and live music        

We've gone through and picked out a few but if we've missed anything please let us know.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, July 21st   

Bluedot Festival is in full swing beneath Cheshire's iconic Lovell telescope at the iconic Jodrell Bank Observatory . The event runs until Sunday (July 23rd)

The Black Cat Café in Welles Street has a 'Wine and Chill' night featuring live music from Jigsaw Jane. It takes place from 7 pm until 9 pm.

Elworth Cricket Club has another weekend of cricket.

Saturday, July 22nd   

Looking for something to do? Brereton Bear Festival, held every two years is in full swing. It's based on the same concept as a scarecrow festival only the theme is bear-inspired to honour the legend of the Muzzled Bear of Brereton. Bears are placed in gardens, on roofs, in trees, hedges anywhere that is visible from the road. Each bear has a number. Programmes available from a number of places including the Bear's Head, Pear Tree farm shop, Spark Lane Nursery and houses where there is a sign. 

Don't forget cricket at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road while at the Potters Barn in Roughwood Lane, Hassall Green, there's a short craft pottery session rom 1.30 pm until 3.30 pm.  

In the evening, Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock, has OBS, playing from 9 pm.

At The Lion, Outer Limits, a mix of Indie, rock, punk and funk with a bit of soul , are on from 9.30 pm.

Sunday, July 23rd

The Bluedot Festival's final day with the legendary Grace Jones headlining.
