Forget Last Night of the Proms – the big Party in the Park is on this weekend!
Guaranteed to draw big crowds, award-winning Foden's Band and Sandbach School big band will be delighting the audience
But there's plenty of other things happening including a charity quiz night and live music galore.

Friday, July 1st
Sandbach Walking Festival continues all weekend.
Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College is holding a charity quiz night tomorrow to raise awareness and funds for brain tumours.

Saturday, July 1st
Fancy a maker's market? Rode Hall has a farmer's market from 9am until 1.30 pm with strawberries and clotted cream on sale plus an array of other food and arts and crafts and Sac n Craic will be playing live.
The courtyard kitchen will be selling brunches, homemade cakes and drinks.
The Party in the Park is on at Sandbach Park. Gates open at 5pm, Sandbach School Big Band is on at 6.30pm, Foden's Band at 8pm and a fireworks finale at 10.15pm.
Wristbands, £10 per adult, are available from Demeter Health Foods, Sandbach Town Hall and The House coffee shop.
At Sandbach Cricket Club, Hind Heath Road, Prof P's 80s vinyl disco is on from 7.30 pm.
At the Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock, Memory Lane play live from 9pm, playing a mix of 60 and 70s music.
Meanwhile The Lion has Jaxon Layne from 8.30 pm.
Sunday, July 3rd
If running is more your thing, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.
They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.

Meanwhile at Sandbach Walking Festival draws to a close with three afternoon walks all starting from The Crosses on Market Square.
A Jacobs Ladder/Tall Chimneys walk starts at 2.30 pm, Brook Wood and Houndings Lane at 3pm and Town and Greens at 3.30 pm.
