Christmas events galore in Sandbach this weekend.

It's a busy weekend ahead with the Christmas lights switch-on. Besides this, there's plenty going on from Christmas fairs to live rugby and live music.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, November 25th    

 

The weekend kicks off with a Polar Post and Christmas market at Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road. Stalls galore at the event which runs from 3.30pm until 8 pm.

   

At Sandbach Town Hall, there's Sandbach Comedy Night with another impressive line-up. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets cost in advance or £15 on the door. Saturday, November 26th  

The Military Arms in Congleton Road is hosting the monthly breakfast club for veterans organised by the Sandbach branch of the Royal British Legion and Cheshire East Council.

The Church on Ettiley Heath has their monthly breakfast club in the community hall in Elton Road from 10 am until 12 noon.

Sandbach Animal Rescue has its annual Christmas fair in Sandbach Town Hall from 9.30 am until 12 noon.

There will be a visit Santa and Sandbach Mascots will be making an appearance with Marshall from Paw Patrol.

The Unity Methodist Church in Crewe Road, Wheelock, has its Christmas fair from 11.45 am with stalls and games.

Meanwhile at Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road, 2nd XV Vs take on Burnage Rugby Football Club at 2.15 pm while the 3rd XV play Leek Rugby Union Football Club at 2pm.

Sandbach Social Club has its six-weekly meet-up at The George in Sandbach at 3pm. Anyone is welcome.  

In the afternoon, celebrations begin for the big Christmas light switch-on in Sandbach.  The event begins at 2.30 pm with various rides and activities for children before the big switch-on at 5pm in Market Square. See you there!

The Lion Another treat for you this Saturday night, we have the returning Risky Business, A fantastic set list of 80's dance and soft rock.

Sunday, November 27th

If running is your thing, Sandbach Striders is a running club for all abilities based out of Sandbach Rugby Club on Bradwall Road.

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.
