A nature reserve near Sandbach is offering people the chance to find out more about meadows and how to manage them.

Ever wanted to have your own meadow? Hassall Green Nature Reserve is running a meadow management course at its base in Betchton Lane.

The free two week training course takes place on August 27th and September 3rd from 10 am until 4pm and will cover such areas as the importance of meadows and their place in history and different types of meadows.

It will also cover health benefits to your garden and for wildlife, planting to provide food sources for wildlife and plug planting in a meadow.

The course is being delivered by Lancashire Wildlife Trust. Further details by emailing Rebecca Mooney at [email protected]
