FACE masks and other measures have been reintroduced in schools in areas of Cheshire East where Covid cases have soared.
As well as insisting on the wearing of masks in communal areas there will be reduced mixing in assemblies and additional testing facilities are to be put in place by Cheshire East Council depending on infection rates.

Covid-19 cases are at their highest level in Cheshire East since the global pandemic was declared in March 2020 – and the biggest breakout is in Sandbach.
Latest figures released on the official UK government website for data and insights on coronavirus (Covid-19), show the rate of positive cases in Cheshire East as 540 per 100,000 population.

The 57-year-old woman from Crewe was a passenger in a red Ford Focus travelling on Warmingham Lane last Friday morning (October 8).

Ansa bosses have been in the driving seat to ensure bin collections are maintained in Cheshire East when the service has been threatened by driver shortages.

The school will become part of the Multi Academy Trust (MAT), The Sir John Brunner Foundation, on or after November 1.
