We at Work Lyf Group are seeking a talented and driven Head Chef to lead our clients kitchen team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about food, team development, and delivering consistently high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and team growth
- Plan and manage staff rotas to maintain efficient coverage across shifts
- Oversee ordering and stock control, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste
- Develop seasonal menus and maintain high standards of presentation and taste
- Ensure full compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations
- Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements where needed
- Develop seasonal menus and ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
- Strong leadership and communication skill
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, budgeting, and cost control
- Passion for quality, creativity, and team development
Hours:
48 per week between the hours of12:00 and 21:00
