A school in Sandbach is back open fully today following partial closure yesterday

A Sandbach school has reopened today after being partly closed yesterday following a kitchen fire.  

Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College in Middlewich Road is fully open today (Tuesday) following the fire on Friday (May 31st).  

A spokesperon for the school said: "We are open fully to all students and staff."    

Yesterday (Monday) Years 7 – 10 and Year 12 had their lessons by Teams while exams went ahead as normal.  

Two fire engines from Middlewich and Congleton, went to Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College at around 3.07 pm on Friday after a small fire broke out in the school kitchen as we revealed here

Nearby Sandbach Leisure Centre was closed on Friday (May 31st) following the fire but reopened on Saturday morning.
