Swimming lessons will start soon and plans are in the pipeline to hold family swimming sessions at the new facility.

An open day is being held on Monday, August 28th when people will be able to take part in free sessions at the new Moston Road facility.

Steve Thomas, Sports Coaching Group's pool operations manager, said the new Moston Road pool has been opened due to demand.

"We've found our pool in Middlewich is so popular and we needed to provide more pool facilities.

"We're delighted to have opened one in Sandbach and we're looking forward to the Cycle Tots facility too."

During term time, the company coaches physical education in over 50 primary schools around Cheshire and Staffordshire.

The purpose-built indoor pool is housed in what was a garage in Elton Road and is next door to Hampton Taylor gym which opened in May as Sandbach Nub News told here
