Brownies and rainbows join Sandbach Clean Team for their monthly litter pick

Sandbach town centre has had a clean sweep this weekend – thanks to brownies and rainbows.

The 1st Sandbach Rainbows and the 4th Sandbach Brownies joined Sandbach Clean team on its monthly litter pick.

And the result was a big improvement in the areas where they picked in Sandbach Park and nearby areas.

Mark Cook, co-ordinator of Sandbach Clean Team said: "they were amazing and really worked hard.

"I wish they could join us every month."

Sandbach Clean Team is a group of volunteers who meet once a month to litter-pick in the town.

Now they are asking any other groups in Sandbach who would like to help them group interested in joining our monthly pick please contact the secretary at [email protected]

Sandbach Clean Team took part in the Big Help Event event following the Coronation earlier this month and revealed here
