Fashion retailer, Peacocks, looks like it is opening a store in Sandbach.

A job vacancy for a new store manager at Peacocks has just appeared on the job site, 'Indeed'.

The details say: "Here at Peacocks we have a fantastic opportunity for a store manager based at our new store in Sandbach.

"If you would like to be part of a forward-thinking business and have a job with excellent career prospects, we would love to hear from you.

"As store manager we are looking for a well-rounded and commercial 'retail manager' who is proactive in their approach and can work using their initiative ..."

No details of the location or when the store will be opening are given but Sandbach Nub News has approached Peacocks for a comment.

Peacocks has nearby stores in Crewe in the Market Centre and Duke Street in Congleton.

The news comes almost a year after another major fashion retailer, M & Co in Penda Way closed.

The privately-owned UK chain has blamed increasing costs and decreasing customer confidence for its downfall.

M&Co permanently closed all of its 170 stores around Easter as we revealed in this story here
