Firefighters called out to an unattended bonfire in Sandbach

Firefighters put out a bonfire in Sandbach last night which had been left unattended.

One fire engine from Middlewich fire station went to the fire in Booth Lane at 5.17 pm.

A spokesperson said: "A hose reel jet was used to put out a bonfire that had been left unattended on Booth Lane."
