Firefighters called to a van fire at services on M6 at Sandbach

Firefighters used breathing apparatus to fight a fire in a commercial van at the motorway service station at Sandbach.
Two fire engines went to the incident at 5.29 pm on Saturday (August 12th) at the service station on the M6 junction 17 to 16.
A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire and Rescue said: "Wearing breathing apparatus, they have used two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze.
"They gained access to the interior of the van and dampened the area down."
