Firefighters extinguish hedgerow and grass fire in Middlewich

One fire engine from Middlewich went to a hedgerow and grass fire nin Middlewich yesterday (Sunday).

The incident happened in Croxton Lane at 4.02 pm.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish a fire involving a hedgerow and grass measuring around 20 x 4 metres."
