Inspiring performance: church's summer concert hits high notes and raises £720

A Sandbach church has raised a bumper £720 from a summer concert.
Sandbach Youth Choir and SO Strings performed to a packed audience at The Church on Ettiley Heath in Elton Road on Saturday (July 12th).
And the event, which included afternoon tea and was held both inside the church and outside raised money for St Luke's Cheshire Hospice and WaterAid.

A spokesperson for the Church on Ettiley Heath said: "We'd like to thank the musicians who provided us with brilliant performances, all those who came along to watch and our church volunteers who helped at the event."

"It was a super occasion and we're delighted with how much it raised which will be split between both charities."
