A creative group set up to bring a touch of colour to the area have done it again – to celebrate this weekend's 'Party in the Park'.

Sandbach Town Council launched the weekly Yarn & Yarn back in April as we told here and since then, they have done a variety of postbox toppers.

Now the group, which meets every Monday 11 am until 1 pm at Sandbach Town Hall, has created a topper to celebrate the Party in the Park for the post box near Sandbach library.

They said on social media: "Today we updated the postbox near the library with one ready for Party in the Park.

"This one is by far our favourite one yet and the level of detail on it is amazing. We cannot wait for you to see it.

"Don't forget our Party in the Park is on Saturday 13th July and we have some tickets still available online and from the office in the Town Hall."

The topper features teacups and cakes to celebrate this Saturday's event (July 13th) in Sandbach Park.
