Crowds turned up to a charity coffee morning held by four-times breast cancer survivor, Judith Colclough.

Judith, wife of Sandbach United Football Club's chairman, Peter, holds a coffee morning to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support each year as revealed here story here

And this year, the event, held at Sandbach United's The CrossBar in Hind Heath Road, was an event with a difference as Judith who is also a talented artist sold some of her work to raise funds.

She said: "I am inspired by the colours, shapes and textures of our natural environment but mostly by the vibrant colours of the sea and sky which I find mesmerising and relaxing.

"Painting is my way of forgetting my worries and problems and is really a form of meditation. When I am out walking, I like to get inspiration from the details of nature.

"I enjoy the experimentation and serendipitous nature of the new mediums and new challenges which take me out of my comfort zone."

Several of Judith's paintings sold at the coffee morning and she has set up a link here so people who couldn't make it can still donate to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Judith usually raises around £1,000 from the event and this year she is hoping to achieve that or beat it.
