A 29-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences.

Marcus Brook, of Cotton Road, Sandyford, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with controlling and coercive behaviour, threats to kill, threats to damage/destroy property, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and intentional strangulation.

He appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Thursday ( 7 May) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday, 6 June.

The charges relate to offences in the Sandbach area.
